Given that Dream Pod 9 is testing the new Heavy Gear: Blitz rules, I decided that I would upgrade my armies to conform to the new standards.
I was never really happy with the paint jobs, and wanted to give them a more "army" feel.
So I went with a simpler colour scheme, focusing on desert colours. I also made sure to redo the flocking, which I was never happy with.
Now I know that the old squads would still be legal in the new rules, but I figured that upgrading would make expanding my armies in the future easier and more balanced.
All in all I am really pleased with the repaints. I think they have a much more bad-ass feel to them now.
Now I will just have to wait and see how they do on the field.
