15mm Giant Waterbug/Beetle

After encountering this terrifying creature and watching rip apart an NPC in what has so far been the most gruesome death JADE's 1st ed Campaign Hymns of a Vagabond has seen, I knew Adam the DM would want to make use of them again, and I needed an appropriate mini.

So this guy is a giant beetle from Reaper Miniatures, and I think it fits for a variety of insectoid creatures. In fact it was even at first mistaken for being a spider while the DM pulled it out from the miniatures case, so I guess it works for arachnids as well in a pinch.

In the last game of Hymns, we did encounter such a dangerous creature, though frankly we didn't have to fight it again, as it dwelled in a pond that we were lucky enough to not fall into.
